Registration of End-users see also Flow of Password change

SecurPass: Reset

When registering an end-user account for the first time, the process flows through the components in a similar fashion to a password reset request, without propagation to other systems.
User Register is used for web users to self-register by entering their questions and answers into the system.  These questions and answers can be used to identify themselves, and to reset their passwords in the future.

(1)     From the Client web browser, SecurPass:Reset is accessed on the Web Server.  The end-user inputs their information into the following fields on the User Self-Register page:
a.        Domain/UserID
b.       Password
c.        Questions and Answers
(1)     The Web Server sends a request to the SecurPass:Reset Server
(2)     SecurPass:Reset Server using ODBC accesses a Database Server to add this end-user’s data in a record
(3)     Using ODBC, data is returned to the SecurPass:Reset Server.
(4)     SecurPass:Reset Server returns data to the Web Server, which then returns the data to the client (step 6).
(5)     If some of the information was disallowed or not complete, the User Self-Register page will be redisplayed with a message explaining the problem.  If the registration was completed successfully, the user will receive a confirmation message.
